Mention of a new hotel in Columbus may not mean much unless you attend the Arnold Sports Festival. Those of you who do, know that hotels in and around the Greater Columbus Convention Center book fast. There are thousands of hotel rooms in Columbus, Ohio but getting within walking distance to the convention center can be a challenge. Good news. A few more hotel rooms will be available for the 2013 Arnold Sports Festival by way of the Hilton Columbus Downtown.

The new $140 million dollar hotel will have 532 rooms and be located across from the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The hotel is slated to be complete by September 2012 and once it opens you might want to make a reservation for the March 2013 event. Its still a few months away but these dates sneak up on you.
