Dr. Manoj Vora, the Lowville doctor who attempted to climb Mount Everest earlier this year, presents video and talks about his adventure as part of the village’s sixth annual Cream Cheese Festival on Saturday, Sept. 18.

His presentation takes place at 2 p.m. in the Lowville Town Hall Theater, 5428 Shady Ave.

Vora told The Post-Standard about his expedition for a story in May.

He shared many photos of his journey.

Upon his return to Lowville, he explained in another newspaper story why he turned back just before reaching the summit.
