New Hilton Coming to Columbus

Mention of a new hotel in Columbus may not mean much unless you attend the Arnold Sports Festival. Those of you who do, know that hotels in and around the Greater Columbus Convention Center book fast. There are thousands of hotel rooms in Columbus, Ohio but getting within walking distance to the convention center can be a challenge. Good news. A few more hotel rooms will be available for the 2013 Arnold Sports Festival by way of the Hilton Columbus Downtown.

The new $140 million dollar hotel will have 532 rooms and be located across from the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

Jennifer Andrews Wins St. Louis Pro Bikini

Jennifer Andrews notched her first pro win in just her third contest as an IFBB Pro. Andrews was the 2010 NPC Nationals Overall Bikini Champ, fourth at the 2010 Ft. Lauderdale Cup and finished 9th at the Bikini International earlier this month. She edged out fellow Bombshell teammate, Jessica Jessie by one point for the win. Jessica Jessie was competing in her first show of the 2011 season and if history repeats itself she only continue to improve as the year goes on. Jessica Putnam finished in third, up one spot from the Bikini International. One point separate each of the ladies on the judges scorecards.

Dina Al-Sabah took home fourth, up eight spots from her Bikini International.

Anthem Blue Cross delays $40M Calif rate hike

LOS ANGELES Anthem Blue Cross, the largest health plan in California, is reducing and delaying rate hikes – moves the state insurance commissioner says will save policyholders at least $40 million.

Anthem announced Monday that it will put off a planned April premium hike until July, and increases in deductibles and co-payments until next January.

Anthem also says it’s reducing the planned premium increase from 9.8 percent to 9.1 percent.

State Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones says when the co-pays and other increases are added in, Anthem’s 600,000 policyholders would have found themselves paying 16.4 percent more in the middle of the year – and some might have been forced to put off treatment.

Oksana Grishina & Other Darkhorses to Watch At The Arnold

Oksana Grishina has quietly moved her way up the ranks of the IFBB Fitness world. Now that the routines are 2/3 of the overall score shes a dark horse to shake things up at the Fitness International. She has incredible strength combined with a solid gymnastic background to do very well this weekend.
